En ole mikään tietokone expertti joten minulla on vähän ongelmaa minun uuden sivuni pystyttämisessä.
Olen kirjoittanut valokuva blogia noin vuoden nyt wordpressin kautta normaalilla blogilla mutta halusin jotain hienompaa ja uutta joten nappasin itelleni webhost palvelun ipage sivulta.
Haluaisin siis saada minun nykyisen sivuni yhdistettyä siihen webhost palveluun että voisin laittaa uuden teeman minkä ostin ja että voisin käyttää pluginsseja.
En myös haluaisi menettää mitään mitä olen sinne kirjoitellut viime vuoden aikana .
Kysyin webhost palvelusta miten saisin tämän tehtyä ja ne antoivat minulle ohjeet mutta suoraan sanottuna tämä ei sano minulle mitään vaikka kuinka yritin heh.
Pitäs varmaan alkaa lukee näitä asoita enemmän kun saa aikaa.
If you wish to move the WordPress website which you have installed externally, you need to upload the website contents and databases to your local computer and then you need to upload them to your account.
You can upload the WordPress contents via FTP and then import it to SimpleScripts. You can upload the contents via FTP by using the following settings:
1) Host Name: makeadent.netfirms.com .
2) User ID / Login Name: Your FTP username.
3) Password: Your FTP password.
4) Port: 21.
5) FTP Remote Host Directory: /public_html
You can upload the WordPress databases to your account by following the steps given below:
1. Log into the control panel with the account username and password.
2. Click on ‘MySQL Database’ under ‘Website’.
3. Select the database name.
4. Click on ‘Access phpMyAdmin' near to the database username.
5. In the left panel, select the database to be uploaded.
6. Click on ‘Import’.
7. Select the .sql file using the ‘Browse' button.
8. Select the character set of the file you are importing.
9. Click on the ‘Go’ button.
Once you upload the contents to your account, you can import it to SimpleScripts by following the steps given below:
1. Log into the control panel with the account username and password.
2. Click on ‘SimpleScripts’ under ‘Website’.
3. Click on ‘WordPress’ under ‘Blogs’.
4. Click on the ‘Import’ button.
5. Enter the URL where you have installed WordPress and click on ‘Import’.
