Last week I had a miscarriage which is second in 2 years. Beginning last year I conceived after an insemination and miscarried it. Then I went for 3 more inseminations and IVF but they were all negative. Later I conceived again naturally and lost it again the same way as before. There was no heartbeat when I went for ultrasound on week 8.
I asked the doctor (in Naistenklinikka) if some tests can be made so if I get pregnant again, this would not happen. But he said tests can be made only if there are 3 or 4 miscarriages. I am so worried now, I cannot afford to lose another pregnancy because getting pregnant itself has been so tough for me. We have been trying for last 4.5 years and I am 30.5 years old with both of us no known fertility problems.
Has anybody managed to get tests done after 2 miscarriages in public or private centers? I am also thinking of going to a private fertility center. Does somebody have any experience like this? Are there any useful tests that they can do to find out the cause which is worth the money spent in the private center? If there are tests and would be useful, then I dont mind spending since this is really important for me now. Or if I stress more can I also get the tests done in naistenklinikka? But even getting a phone appointment with a doctor seems to be really difficult there.
Please share your experiences and suggestions regarding this.

Hi,
I have got 3 miscarrages on weeks 9, 6 and 5 but I does not help. Doctor just said that they do not have resources for do some miscarriage tests or try to find the reason what can cause those mis.carriages. Also doctor (HUS area) doctor said that all misscarraiges have to be happend from week 6 onwards.
So if you have money enough you can go to private doctor. In private side they are ready to start investigation and test right after 3 miscarriages and also in some situations also after 2 miscarriages but it takes lot ot money. - Ger
Yeah, maybe I have to go to private clinic. But I am thinking of trying once more with public, if not I guess I will go to private. I kind of have to afford, I need to have my next preganancy healthy. Thanks.

I got third miscarriage 2 weeks ago and in Naistenklinikka they dont want to test still. So I have to now go to a private clinic. Does somebody have tests for miscarriage done at private clinics? If so can you please let me know your experience and the cost overall. Which clinic would you refer and which docor. Thanks in advance.
