Kuka maksaa matkustajan nimen vaihdosta johtuvat kustannukset, sinä vai ostaja? Se ei nimittäin ole ihan halpaa.
Myös lentoyhtiön nimi olisi oiva tieto, ja minkälaisesta lipusta on kysymys (muutosoikeudet?)
BA/AY lennothan nuo ovat ja BA sanoo nimen muutoksesta seuraavaa:
If you want to change the person travelling
If you have made a booking for the wrong person and you find this out within a day of making the booking, we have a 24 hour cooling off period within which you can call British Airways customer services and cancel the booking and receive a full refund.
Outside this cooling off period, bookings are non-transferable and you will need to cancel the original booking and make a new booking for the new traveller (at current fare rates). Please call us if you'd like more advice and assistance.
Sen verran selvennystä vielä, että peruutuksesta saa takaisin enintään lentokenttämaksut miinus toimituskulut eli käytännössä tuskin mitään. Lippu on siis arvoton.
Nimeä muuttamatta liput ovat käyttökelvottomat.
Lentoyhtiö on kylläkin Virgin Atlantic ja minä maksan nimenvaihtokulut.
