Hi
I am living in an Asokodit apartment . I would like to know whose responsibility is it to replace the Ikkuna tiiviste, is it residents' responsibility or Asokodit?
We have been complaining the whole winter saying that our house is quite cold, and that lot of air comes through the ikkuna tiiviste and also through the holes in the windows where the blinds' string would pass though. They are quite broken.
In the end they had put some ikkune tiiviste in our post box for us to fix. It would just be enough for say less than half required for all the windows and doors. But nothing was done to fix the broken control mechanism for the blinds.
Thanks in advance

Anything to do with the non-permanent inside fixtures of the apartment are yours to fix. This includes the blind control mechanism. Includes ikkunatiiviste for the inside window. They were nice to give you the ikkunatiiviste.
A clearer division of responsibility here:

But heating (and it being cold) is an Asokoti-responsibility.
So next winter keep calling the huoltomies if your apartment feels cold.
Also: if this apartment is old, then you should expect to fix stuff--- but if it is brand new, then do complain a lot. There might be some fault in the actual building work.
Hi Thanks for your quick response. This gives me some clarity. Previously in HOAS we did not have to anything, so I was assuming the same here. Thanks .
