“Most middle-class whites have no idea what it feels like to be subjected to police who are routinely suspicious, rude, belligerent, and brutal.”
― Benjamin Spock
“A cop is closer to a garbage man than he is to a lawyer. The cop isn’t in the middle of the two—he’s on top, with the lawyer being well below the garbage man. ”
― Jarod Kintz
“There is something about the state putting the power to police to bully into the hands of subnormal, sadistic apes that makes my blood boil.”
― Gore Vidal

Vanhimmat
...No one heard a single word you said
They should have seen it in your eyes
What was going around your head
Ooh, she's a little runaway
Daddy's girl learned fast
All those things he couldn't say
Ooh, she's a little runaway....

...Samaan aikaan pinnalla oli kohu alkanut
Onko suosittu rokkitähti hukkunut
Rannalta löytyi ainoastaan vanha rannekello
Ja vaateparsi hälle kuulunut
Siis levy myyntiä vauhdittaakseen
Uransa aallon pohjassa
Lavastanut hukkumakuolon....

Matkaan lähden
Mulla menolippu on :)
Katson taaksepäin ja kiskot sinne jää
Juna jyskyttää, enkä ystävää nyt mä nää
Mulla kauas menolippu on....

They made up their minds and they started packing
They left before the sun came up that day
An exit to eternal summer slacking
But where were they going without ever knowing the way?....
Anyone can see the road that they walk on is paved with gold
It's always summer they'll never get cold
They'll never get hungry, they'll never get old and gray
You can see their shadows wandering off somewhere
They won't make it home but they really don't care
They wanted the highway, they're happier there today, today.... :-D
You can see their shadows wandering off somewhere...

Now I find myself in question
They point the finger at me again
Guilty by association
You point the finger at me again
I wanna run away
Never say goodbye
I wanna know the truth
Instead of wondering why
I wanna know the answers
No more lies
I wanna shut the door
And open up my mind

I'm bulletproof, nothing to lose
Fire away, fire away
Ricochet, you take your aim
Fire away, fire away
Shoot me down
But I won't fall
I am titanium
Stone-hard, machine gun
Firing at the ones who run
Stone-hard, those bulletproof glass
You shoot me down,
but I won't fall
I am titanium

They lived in peace
Not long ago
A mighty Indian tribe
But the winds of change
Had made them realize
That the promises were lies, ohh
They had lost their faith
And now they had to learn
There was no place to return
Nowhere they could turn
Cherokee
Oh, marchin' on the trail of tears
Cherokee
Oh, marchin' on the trail of tears
They were driven hard
Across the plains
And walked for many moons
'Cause the winds of change
Had made them realize
That the promises were lies
They have lost their faith
And now they had to learn
There was no place to return
Nowhere they could turn

Nothing really matters
Behind the shades of blue
You wanna rock (rock)
And nothing's gonna make you stop
And nothing's gonna break you up
Everybody knows you're lost
In the night time, honey
(Lost boys)
And nothing's gonna make you stop
And nothing's gonna break you up
Everybody knows you're lost
In the night time, honey
(Lost boys)
