Lyösin ohjelman jolla pystyy tekee ylimääräisestä RAM muistista fyysisen levyosion. Onhan se tosi nopee, (pakkasin 10GB kansion sillä tosi nopeesti vain pariin sekuntiin, i7 prossu oli nyt pullonkaulana. Käyttöaste yli 95%) mutta kun koneen sammuttaa niin kaikki tuon osion tiedot häviävät, eli ne täytyy tallentaa jonnekkin muualle kuitenkin.

Ilmaisit juuri aivan tarkalleen, mikä idea siinä on.
Joo eli idea on sama kuin keksittäs muistitikku joka tyhjentyy kun sen irottaa tietokoneesta. Erittäin kätevää :D
Se on tarkoitettu TILAPÄISEEN datan tallentamiseen käytön aikana. Eli erilaisten väliaikaisten työtiedostojen ja vastaavien tallentamiseen, niiden jotka poistetaan jokatapauksessa kun homma on saatu valmiiksi. Syy tuollaisten käyttöön on juuri tuo nopeus, monessa hommassa normaalin kovalevyn hitaus hidastaa hommaa merkittävästi. Jos et ymmärrä käyttötarkoitusta niin kukaan/mikään ei pakota käyttämään, jätä sen käyttö niille jotka ymmärtävät sen käyttötarkoituksen.

Syynä on se minkä aloittajakin huomasi, nopeus.
Nopeus. Tietysti se osio siirretään talteen ennen kuin katkaistaan virrat.
Katsos kun sitä saa myös ostettua kaupasta tietokoneita joissa on vaikka 1024 gigaa RAM muistia joissa pidetään virtoja päällä 24/7.
Idea on se, että levy on käytönaikana nopeampi.
Siis jos sinulla on todella paljon ylimääräistä muistia, niin siitä on hyötyä vaikka sanotaan video editoinnissa.

Miksei tee mitään? Sinäkin voisit ohjata kaikki koneen käyttöjärjestelmän ja ohjelmien väliaikaistiedostot menemään sinne ramdiskille. Sitten ei tarvitsisi harrastaa sitä suosimaasi koneen höyläämistä ccleanerilla.
