"He testified that he referred the Arvizo's to
psychologist Stan Katz "to make out some heads or tails of what was being told to me." He claimed to District Attorney Tom Sneddon that the family have never discussed a possible civil lawsuit with the idea of a financial payout, despite Katz testifying on Wednesday it was his belief that a civil suit was being discussed."
"Defence attorneys have requested a mistrial as they have evidence that witnesses have discussed the case with each other, which is against court rules."
