Gurujen opetuksien mukaan mitä enemmät pyrit olemaan puhdas: oikeasti sen likaisemmaksi tulet!
13. If food is prepared in a gold vessel, the dog eats it. If it is prepared in an earthen vessel, then also the dog eats it.
Commentary: A dog sees no difference between food cooked in a gold vessel or an earthen pot. To a dog, that food is the same. So it is with a Liberated being. A Siddha, one who is perfected in Yoga, no longer lives in duality. Like the dog, to such a being, no one and nothing is superior or inferior. God exists everywhere, in everything and everyone, regardless of form, color or mannerism. Just as a dog will recognize and eat food, regardless of what the food is prepared or contained in, so too the yogi should recognize the entire universe of forms as being only God, regardless of the form. Real food is the knowledge that the world is not really a mere world but the very form of Shiva.

Minusta tuon tekstin yksi tärkeimmistä sanomista on, ettei rituaalinen puhtaus ole välttämättä laisinkaan merkki hengellisestä puhtaudesta ja valaistumisesta.
