THE INTERNATIONAL PEACE MEETING
What is it all about ?!?
We are organising an international peace meeting
in Barcelona in summer 2003 where people from all
over the world will come together to exchange
culture and make a demonstration against war,
against every kind of violence and against the
exploitation of the so-called 3rd world
countries. We can´t wait any longer to make
a change, especially in those times, when
everyone seems to go crazy... .
The meeting will last at least 1 week and will
take place in or near Barcelona (Spain) on a
camping area.
There will be a seperated group who will start
earlier either in Paris or in Montpellier, this
group will WALK. Which means that, if we are
lucky and get a minibus, we put our heaviest
luggages (like instruments etc.) in a bus and
walk through different cities till we reach
Barcelona, around the date of the beginning of
the international peace meeting. The walk has
different reasons:
first of all our WALK for peace and freedom will
show that we are sincere with our message,
secondly it will be something which differs from
the other usual demonstrations and will therefore
attract more attention of the public. Last but
not least the participants living in the cities
we´re walking through can easily join us.
What will we do during the week of the meeting?
That´s not sure yet, but we will work that out
soon.
WE´re still thinking of creating the possibility
to give small concerts, for local and
international musiciens, although we don´t think
that we will be able to give them any payment so
it might be some kind of free concert.
Everyone is free to participate as long as you
agree with our idea and message.
STOP ALL THE WARS !
STOP EXPLOITATION OF THE POOR COUNTRIES !
You should be 18 (sorry, because of the
responsability) while the meeting but families
with small children are very welcomed, of
course !!!!!
We will work out a new information paper soon
which will include more precise information about
the meeting and furthermore possible solutions
for peace and for the stopping of the
exploitation.
Should you want to organize the meeting with us
or “only” participate, or just
Ask some questions, please send an email to (in
english): [email protected]
