Nightlife tulossa parin kuukauden sisällä, ja täällä on ollut jo paljon keskustelua aiheesta!
mutta uutta tietoakin saa aina tulla?:D
Copy-pasten muutamat asiat nightlifesta modthesims2:n forumista!
ikävä kyllä teksti englanniksi, mutta jos itse en nyt ehdi, niin joku englanninkielen taitoinen voisi tehdä "pikasuomennoksen" asioista joista täällä ei ole vielä keskusteltu!
HUOM!! tuo asia että enää ei tarvitse tontilla ollessa tulla tunnetta että olet yksin erämaan keskellä!! vaan kun pelaat, näet naapurisi talon ja puut ja yms!!!

"Hey,
I've been watching the direct feed live from E3 @ Gamespot (I'm a member) and I've found out some stuff about Nightlife. There was a demo running in the back, so I don't think what I saw was rumor or speculation - but you never know with Maxis. Anyway, here's what I found out when I tuned in (I was late, and may have missed some stuff. The stream should be up for free viewing later today if anyone wants to check it out):
- There are definitely vampires in the game. They didn't show any during the demo that was running, but Tim confirmed it. He said there's even a possibility of having a vampire-alien-zombie hybrid, if that's your cup of tea.
- There are coffin beds for your vampires, too; Tim confirmed this as one of the new furnishing objects (although someone here has already made them).
- Besides the DJ turntable and karaoke(sp?) machine etc, there's a photo booth and your Sims can take little pictures of themselves in there. Sounds good!
- The expansion will fully work with Uni, so your students can go out on dates, go nightclubbing, etc - which really is a no-brainer. Still sounds good!
- The guy in the demo drove off in his car that was outside the club - with his date - and it looks awesome in motion! Nice, sporty red!
- There are now proper rugs; Tim bought one from Buy mode to show everyone and placed it in inside the restaurant area, which looked really cool! The dining booths I saw were lovely; a lot better than the ones in Hot Date. A lot of modders/recolourers/designers are going to have a field day with those, I think. Tim, somehow, was very excited about having rugs... hmmm.
**LIGHTBULB* He accessed Buy Mode while Downtown? I wonder if you're allowed to do that now... hmmm. Or maybe the demo was just in Debug mode.
- I saw that dance-sphere-ball thing in motion; moved very fludily and very quickly! I'd be dead sick in that! It looked good.
- Tim was also quite excited about the stories players are gonna tell about the cars; your Sim parent can buy your teen or YA a car for good grades, etc. I do hope - and believe - that you might be able to have more than one car. He didn't say that, but that's what I'm hoping. Also, after this Sim drove off Tim still remained on the Downtown lot with two other Sims whom he was controlling; he didn't leave with Mr. Flash Car, so I'm wondering if that's now possible - instead of everyone leaving when one person leaves, you can get them to leave separately? Or maybe - again - Debug mode....
- Also: she's definitely back! Mrs Crumplebottom is alive and well, and still knocking out people with her heavyweight handbag! In the demo, she slapped up Tim's Sim (heh heh) and then pulled out some wool and started knitting - in the middle of a nightclub! What was she doing in a nightclub in the first place? She should be at home with 5 cats and a mug of Horlicks! On a side note: can't wait to send my elders from the retirement home out to a nightclub ... biddies on the dancefloor !
- Some Sims were sitting at the bar, and one of them was tapping his hands to the music on the bar, and checking out everyone. Not really news, but it added to the realism of the game; it looked good.
- And - for me, at least - THE MAIN NEWS: they've opened up the Neighbourhood!! I could not believe it when I saw it, but it looks so darn wonderful, I nearly slid from my chair! What I mean by that, is that instead of seeing nothing around you when you're on your lot, you can now see other buildings surrounding your current lot - and that was awesome! During this Downtown demo, Tim zoomed out briefly to show all the buildings around his restaurant/nightclub lot, and I swore I saw a couple of mini skyscrapers - it appears you might be able to see quite a bit when you zoom out! It was running at night, so everything was lit up beautifully! While I sat in awe, Tim was saying that before this expansion, it felt like you were stuck in the middle of nowhere on your lot, but now you'll be able to see the rest of your town and it'll feel more like a breathing, living world. I'm just wondering how that's all gonna work on some computers - including mine; I hope it doesn't lag too much... But, for me, that was the best news of the interview.
I'll keep checking Gamespot myself, and let you know when they post up that stream for free, or if they cut it up into smaller chunks. This is something anyone interested in Nightlife should see...

But also the turn-ons and turn-offs of the Sims...these could be things like Red Hair, Glasses, or Cologne/Perfume! You pick your turn-ons and turn-offs in Create-a-Sim, and can change them with a special new aspiration reward object..."
• About couples that are already married/engaged/etc not romantically compatable anymore according to the new factors.
"This was a concern of ours as well.
When relationships are high, incompatability matters less. So, your loving married couples should still be perfectly intact after installing NL."

En jaksanut lukea tota englanninkielistä tekstiä, mutta kuvat oli hyvä veto. Sitähän sanotaan, että kuvat kertovat enemmän kuin tuhat sanaa ja tässä tapauksessa kävi niin, että kun olen empinyt hommaisko nightlifen niin kuvien katselun jälkeen tulin siihen tulokseen, et homman sen. Se on mukava kun näkee naapurienkin talot eikä vaan tyhjyyttä.

en voi sanoo kun vau! yliopistosta en ollu kiinostunu koska se ei vaikuttanut ihmeeliseltä, mutta tuo että naapurit näkyy on jo jotain! aah, ois tehny mieli pelata sitä. painelin jo noita kuviaki kun menin niin sekasin.x) no, puhunhan mä kiville ja pelikorteillekkin, niin miks en pelais kuvaa.:D mutta VAU!
