on XP palomuurin laita, kun täytyy estää ohjelmien pääsy nettiin?
Käytä vain sitä "muka" hyvää XP muuria mutta muista, koskaat et tiedä mitä tietoja sinun koneelta lähtee ulospäin.
Mistä se vakoiluohjelma yllättäen ilmestyy? Jos on palomuuri virustorjunta kunnossa, joten mitä kautta mato kulkeutuu?
Niin ja Spywareblaster myös asennettuna ja päivitettynä.
kyse mistään vakoiluohjelmasta vaan ihan normaali ohjelmista mitä koneellasi käytät.
Esim. Real player joka tahtoo vähän väliä päästä nettiin. Eikä tod. ole ainoa joka sinne yrittää.
Tiedät mitä tietoja mikäkin ohjelma voi koneeltasi lähettää niiden tekijöille?
Kuinka siis rajoitat niiden pääsyä nettii XP muurilla?

Esim. Zonella (pro versiolla) voit rajoittaa jokaisen ohjelman/ohjelman osan pääsyä.
Uudella(6.0.631.002) voit jopa estää niitä ohjelmia käynnistymästä.
Riippuen tietysti mitä olet muurisi asetuksi laittanut.
Väitteesi ei täysin pidä paikkaansa. Asensin pojalleni Worms-pelin ja tuli ilmoitus, haluanko päästää ohjelman nettiin! XP_muuri tosin voisi olla aktiivisempi.
Eikö kuitenkin palomuurin tärkeinä tehtävä ole netistä tulevien haittojen estäminen?
pitää estää molempiin suuntiin. Eihän se muuten mikään PALOMUURI olekaan.
Itse asiassa ei. Palomuurin tehtävä on ja on aina ollut torjua hyökkäykset ulkoa sisäänpäin. Ulospäin suuntautuvan liikenteen estäminen on vain "lisävaruste".
