WanCheng International Education Center is a non-profit,
non-governmental organization based at Chongqing which provides
opportunity to make a meaningful contribution by working as English
teacher in developing country such as China. Our mission is to provide
a
smooth, secure experience and fully supported overseas teaching
experience for the foreigner in a foreign country and to actively
encourage culture exchange by helping Chinese students learn English.
Everyone is welcome to join Wan Cheng program, no matter you are in
the
gap year, undergraduate, graduate, working or even retired. We require
Native English speaker to teach primary, secondary and college level
students, ideally to start in mid-August, 2005.Non-native English
speakers are encouraged to apply. No prior teaching or foreign
language
proficiency is required. We provide extensive teaching and language
training in country.
We will offer you the following:
Contract : 4 months and 10 months (renewable)
Teaching locations : Chongqing, Chengdu, Hengyang, Lanzhou, Luzhou,
Jiamusi ,Wuhan and Xi'an
Salary : RMB30-RMB60/period (depending on your
experience and working hours)
Teaching Day : Monday to Friday
Teaching hours : minimum 70-120 hours
Accommodation : Free western style apartment
Pick-up : one of our representatives will meet
you
at the airport and take you to the apartment.
Visa : we work with the local government
to
obtain you work authorization
Local Support : We look after you throughout your placement
There are two intakes every year for the program. The first in March
and
the second are in September. Typically, successful candidates will
arrive to WanCheng two weeks before the start of term for basic
teacher
