I am inclined to agree, yet that is where it has been moved, for better or worse. It doesn't really make a lot of sense, but if you've spent any amount of time in suomi24, you'll already be used to that sort of thing...

Transsexual want to adopt the opposite gender role entirely, the considerable proportion of TS want to correct thei anatomical gender too

No, the rough difference is in gender identity. In transvestites the gender identity is congruent with the chromosomal sex, while in the transsexed it is not. To put it in more concise terms, transvestites are cross-dressers while transsexed are cross-gendered.

Obviously the lines are far from this clear in the real world, and you can't always tell a TS from a TS. It can be difficult for the people in question, too. Often the only way to tell the two apart is by whether they mainly live in their "birth sex" or not.
