Im looking for a venue (place for the reception/ party) in the Espoo, Helsinki or Vantaa region. It would be for around 50 people in Feb 2007.
We want somewhere small and not a hotel.

Pls inform what kind of atmosphere and price level you are looking for. There are several venues in the greater Helsinki area, many of them are quite basic places with a hall, stage and small kitchen, some of them has set of dishes as well for rent, some self catering places request you to rent dishes as well. Prices for venues are roughly from 200 EUR to 1.000 EUR.
Will you arrange catering your selves or would you prefer the venue which caters the receptin as well? If you hire the catering yourself you can usually also bring our own alcohol (if you want ot serve alcohol at the party), which is better for the budget.
In some places you can decorate the hall during previous night, most places allow decoration only the same morning or you have to rent the hall for prevous day as well. In some places the ending time is also already at midnight.
