Judge dismisses suit against Michael Jackson
NEW ORLEANS - A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit brought by a Louisiana man claiming he was molested by pop star Michael Jackson.
Joseph Bartucci claimed he was lured into Jackson's limousine in 1984 and held for nine days. Bartucci claimed he was both sexually and physically assaulted during a drive to California and back.
According to court records, he repressed his memory of the case until he saw a television show about child molestation charges brought against Jackson in California. Jackson was acquitted in that case.

New Orleansin osavaltion tuomari on hylännyt Louisianalaisen miehen jättämän syytteen, jossa väitetään Michaelin kiusanneen tätä.
JB väitti, että hänet oli houkuteltu Jacksonin limusiiniin ja pidetty siellä 9 päivää vuonna '84. JB väitti että häntä oli sekä seksuaalisesti että ruumiillisesti ahdisteltu ajomatkalla Californiaan ja takaisin.
Tuomioistuimen asiakirjojen mukaan hän oli "pidellyt" asiaa muistissaan kunnes näki televisiossa ohjelman, jossa käsiteltiin Jacksonin hyväksikäyttösyytteitä, joista Jackson todettiin syyttömäksi.

NEW ORLEANS -- Michael Jackson proved that he was in California when a New Orleans-area man claimed the pop star kidnapped and molested him for nine days in 1984, a federal judge ruled.
U.S. District Judge Eldon Fallon's reasons for tossing a lawsuit filed by Joseph Bartucci Jr. against Jackson were posted Tuesday on the court's Web site.

Fallon said Wayne Nagin, who kept Jackson's appointment calendar in the spring of 1984, provided a sworn statement saying Jackson was rehearsing in California for his Victory Tour from May 20-27, 1984.
"The calendar reflects a series of appointments each day during the period," Fallon wrote.
Moreover, he said, Charilette R. Sweeney of Encino, Calif., swore that she had known Jackson since 1976 and remembered talking to him on May 13, 17 and 20, 1984, about getting an award from President Reagan on May 14 of that year.
"This evidence conclusively demonstrates that Mr. Jackson was in California from May 19 to May 27, 1984, and could not have been in New Orleans to participate in the events alleged" by Bartucci, Fallon wrote.

MJ todisti olleensa Californiassa aikana kun New Orleanssin mies syytti häntä kidnauppauksesta ja kiusaamisesta 9 päivän ajan '84, osavaltion tuomari julisti.

Fallon on kertonut, että W. Nagin, joka piti MJ:n "tapaamiskalenteria" keväällä '84, antoi luotettavan lausunnon, että Jackson oli harjoittelemassa tuolloin Californiassa hänen Victory -kiertuetta varten 20-27. toukokuuta '84.
"Kalenteri osoittaa useita tapaamisia joka päivälle tuona aikana." Fallon kirjoitti.
Ja lisää (charilette?) R. Sweeney vannoi, että hän on tuntenut MJ:n '76 vuodesta lähtien ja muisti puhuneensa Michaelin kanssa 13, 17 ja 20. päivä toukokuuta '84 koska tämä oli saamassa palkinnon presidentti Reaganilta 14. tuokokuuta samana vuonna.
"Tämä todistaa lopullisesti, että MJ oli Californiassa 19-27. toukokuuta eikä näin ollen ottanut osaa New Orleanssissa Bartuccin väitettyihin tapahtumiin."
