    yum - RPM installer/updater . Toimii myös Mandrivassa ;)

    Elikkäs tuo yum 3.0 -1, asentuu aika helposti Mandriva Free 2007. ;)

    Kyllä se on pian maku asia minkä distron haluu valita.
    Tässä nyt toimii hyvin noi win32 setupitkin , pelkällä winellä. ;)

    Vanhimmat

    toimi apt-get myös ja saa myös sudo komennon käyttöön.
    Mut miks ei vaan käyta urpmi komentoa se on niin helpoa :)

    • ..kunhan vaan testasin tuota apt/yum.a, ei voikos tuo asentaa.

      Mandrivassa on tosiaan apt-get.

      Tästä Debiansta "Etch" tulee kyllä tosi hyvä distro, mut en hylkää silti Mandriva,
      kun melkein alusta on ollut Mandrake, ja nyt Mandriva. Se kun on kuin osaa minua,
      ehkä Suse jää, Redhat jäi jo ajat sit, ja Fedoraan en kajonut, kun tuli RedHatiin tilalle. ;)

    Ole jotain mitä urpmilla ei löytyisi ?
    ja rpm paketit toimivat Mandrivalla ehkä paremminkin kuin fedoralla (siihen kai viittasit).

    Eikös se ole jonkinlainen riski saada käyttis sekaisin jos yrittää käyttää toisen käyttiksen paketinhallintaa?
    Oletko kokeillut myös asentaa niillä ohjelmia Mandrivaan? Onnistuiko hyvin?
    Itse olen todella yllättynyt löydettyäni tämän mandrivan ja sen kaikinpuolin hyvin tehdystä ja viimeisteltystä käytttiksestä. Urpmi toimii yhtä hyvin kuin apt-get ubuntussa mikä oli kanssa kiva juttu.
