Paljon on kysymyksiä, mutta mulla on noin 2,5 vuotta vanha HP Pavilion 560t eli konepaketti, joka on ostettu Anttilasta. Siihen olen vaihtanut virtalähteen (Betek 250 W => Nexus-4090, 400 W) ja näyttiksen (GF FX5500 => Radeon 9600 Pro => GF 7600 GS) ja lisännyt muistia (512 MB => 1024 MB).
Nyt tuli mieleen voiko tuohon konepakettiin vielä tehdä jotain muuta muutoksia ennen kuin se on "museokone". Prosessorin vaihto kiinnostaisi, mutta mikä emolevyyn käy? Emolevyn valmistaja on ASUSTek Computer inc. ja muuta en siitä osaa sanoa.

Ilmeisesti tuo on A-socketin kannalla? Minkälaisen prossan tuohon voisi vielä laittaa? Jostain sain tietää, että internal clock maximum on 3 GHz (ja external clock 200.00 MHz). Sitten mitä tarkoittaa "Uppgrade ZIF Socket"? Eli siis kellottamalla saisin tuon 3 GHz maksimissa? Voiko siis laittaa isomman prosessorin tuohon kantaan ja minkälaisen? Onko vinkkejä?

Jos et hae kuin prosessoripäivitystä, niin myy emolevysi ja prossusi esim. huuto.net:ssä. Esim. boxed 3200 :sta tarjottu melkein 110€ hintaa, mikä on aika hyvin kun esim. Athlon64 3800 am2-kantaan maksaa 100€ uutena..
