Nvidia-glx-new ajurit asennettu. Beryl-ubuntu, beryl manager ja emerald-themes paketit asennettu synaptikin kautta riippuvuksineen. Berylissa ikkunan reunat eivät toimi ja valmiiksi asennetussa compizissa samoin. Compizin laitoin päälle komennolla compiz --replace, tai joku sellainen. Miten tää systeemi toimii?

laitappa konsoli käyntiin ja kirjoita siihen:
beryl-manager
pitäisi ilmestyä sellainen punainen timantin kuva palkin reunaan. sen päällä oikeeta hiiren nappia ja valitse -> select window manager -> beryl
nyt vilase konsolia ja heitä sieltä kaikki mahdolliset errorit copy pastella tänne.
veikkaisinpa että xorg.conf filussa jotain häikkää..

U R GENIUS! Beryl toimii :) Compizissa näkyy ikkunan sisällön lisäksi vain ikkunoiden reunojen kulmat. itse reunat eivät näy :(
säädöt ole heti oikein?asennat beryllin,asetukset on heti kohdallaan.Vielä on paljon korjattavaa ennen kuin kansa tämän huolii ja windowsin mahti murtuu.Kokeiltuani ubuntua koko kokeilun ajan piti etsiä ohjeita.En näemmä ole yksin.Edellinenkin sai osin toimimaan,silti oli jostain syystä iloinen.

jotenkaan ei mene minun jakeluun toi wineäminen ohjeiden lukemisesta?!? kait se nyt on helvetti päivänselvää jos uutta järjestelmää aikoo käyttää että siihen tarttee ohjeita. itse kitisisin jos niitä ohjeita ei olisi tarjolla mutta kun ne kerran on tarjolla ni suu kiinni sillon ja mars ohjeita lukemaan.
