Wii pärjää myös DownUnderissa:
August 15, 2007 - New Australian sales figures have been released by GfK Australia today, revealing that Nintendo's Wii has managed to outsell both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 combined throughout the country over the last month.
Lifetime sales of Wii in Australia currently sit at 138,192 units, up 31,654 from figures released in early July. Meanwhile, lifetime sales of the Xbox 360 are at 195,056, up 13,495 units, and PlayStation 3 sits at 66,503, up 11,775 units.
Since its launch 36 weeks ago, Wii has fast closed in on the GameCube, which barely managed to exceed sales of 160,000 during its 4-year lifetime.
Exact figures for other platforms weren't released, but for this year, GfK said that the Nintendo DS and PlayStation 2 have been the top-selling systems, followed by Wii, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PSP.

Wiin myynti on neljättä viikkoa laskussa ja pudonnut viikossa kolmasosaan edellisen viikon myynnistä.
Wiin loppu alkaa häämöttää. Taitaa jäädä vielä Gamecubeakin surkeammaksi flopiksi, mikä on pelkästään hyväksi peliteollisuudelle.
