    Sharan

    Olen lähdössä hakemaan Saksasta tilaautoa ja varteenotettava vaihtoehto on VW Sharan (eli siis ainakin päällisin puolin sama kuin Ford Galaxy ja Seat Alhambra). Kuutoskoneellinen automaattilaatikolla kiinnostaa ja vuosimalli 97-99. Saksan hinnat liikkuu 11-13 tEur tietämillä eli kokonaishinnaksi tullee hitusen yli 20 tEur. Onko kokemuksia autosta ylipäätään, mitä kannattaa ottaa huomioon?

    itsellä sharan 1.9 tdi 110 hv -99.olen ollut tyytyväinen hankintaani.isoksi autoksi tosi mukava liikuteltava ja maantie ajossa menee kuin juna.dieselinä kulutus on ainakin pieni kokooonsa nähden.eli eikun vaan sharaniin kiinni!

    Mites tuo varaosa yms. saatavuus täällä kotosuomessa? Onko niitä koskaan tuotu maahan, vai joutuuko joka osan tilaamaan erikseen?

      Sorry guyes that I am writing in English. I have bought from Germany Sharan VR6 2.8L 1996 model, Meter 176000. The car is nice to drive especially for my crowded family. You need a benzin station attached to the car.. 12-17L/100km. The tullilasku came last week for the 6 yeas old car and too much driven ( 7600E!!), they have assumed that the car could cost about 22000 E and calculated the tax accordingly.

      As for the spare parts.. I have a bad experience with the agent (no need to mention the name!) for reason or another they are not pleasant to see somebody buying the car from abroad.. When I asked them if my car has an alarm or not, they did not bother to check and told me, it might be or it might not have!! I need to change the brake disks, they told that they should order them from Germany and the price would be twice more than the price I have later find it with the disks from Hessumobile.. The spareparts are not easy to find and the prices are expensive.

      Next time I would bring a car that exists in Finland rather thatn some car that the Katsastusmies was not able to find the chase number.. and wondered about the power of the brakes.. every document will cost at least 100E.

      Good luck with Sharan.. I am still happy with the car, and also the bank is happy with the interest of my loans..

      Sama minkä merkkisenä ostat- hyvän auton saat, mutta ehdoton peli dieselinä. Kulutus todella korkea bensaversiona 2.3 galaxyssa ja VR6:lla. Tietenkään kaikkien ei tarvitse laskea näin tarkkaan...Ja kyllä tietysti lähtee nätimmin. Lycka till autonhankintaan!

      The tulli sounds extremely high to me as well. You are saying that your car is model 96 but still only 6 years old?

      This is what Tulli has been using as a basis for tax to a similar? car in June:

      VOLKSWAGEN Sharan 2.8 Aut (registered 07.11.1996) 16204 eur

      So you must have a fair chance to get something still back!

      My car was registered 7.8.1996, so it is 7 years and not 6. It cost me in Germany about 5.500E, but I had to fix the air-condition, and the airbag.. and others, not to mention the trip.. so ..We are talking about more than 8.000.

      I have complained about the decision to the Tulli for a correction. Unfortunately, I have not find any details about previous decisions regarding the cost of the customs for a similar car. So please if you do have please let me know! I was refereeing in my complaint to an earlier decision on a Ford Galaxy VR6 2.8L ( by the way 1996 Sharan and Galaxy are made in the same factory, with a very tiny differences) The value of that car is stated in the tulli net page 12500. Check also this site:

      It was interesting that when I was bringing the decision from the Tulli, I have asked them where they get the exact value of the car in Finland? As everyone knows that ads in Keltainenporssi or the one that car dealers have are not true indicator of the exact value of the car. I was very lucky to meet the person who made the decision to ask about their source.. It was surprised to see that I was taking to a room in the presence of 2 muscle men.. I was very kind to ask but she looked very worried..

      I still like my Sharan, and confidant that the Tulli will recalculate the tax.

      Unfortunately that does not include all the details like equipment etc. but gives still a pretty good indication of the level.
      If you look for example at the Galaxy -96 the decisions are based on the appr. 17 tEur.
