Make love your goal
And loving your life-to-be
Since in the final frontiers
Nothing else is real
The kind of love St. Paul tells about,
And the love described in Kama Sutra
A love entering the human heart for the very first time,
And a Tantrian mystery
A pure love, yet experienced, possessing the knowledge
A love not to be told in words
But to be read in your sight, heard in your voice
The pain and the joy to make you cry for the first time
And for the last
The feeling to retain your belief in life
And the one to make you lose it;
A love to awake your jealous side
And, finally, to drive you into madness…
Make love your goal.
And loving your life-to-be
Since in the final frontiers
Nothing else is real
The kind of love St. Paul tells about,
And the love described in Kama Sutra
A love entering the human heart for the very first time,
And a Tantrian mystery
A pure love, yet experienced, possessing the knowledge
A love not to be told in words
But to be read in your sight, heard in your voice
The pain and the joy to make you cry for the first time
And for the last
The feeling to retain your belief in life
And the one to make you lose it;
A love to awake your jealous side
And, finally, to drive you into madness…
Make love your goal.

sorry, but I think that pure love is something like humanity, not solely passion or human drive,
rational thinking is too the obvious element of pure love, without it the madness is the main element
pure love cannot contain pain, on the contrary
but I think that true love must always contain pain, in one form or another. And true love is always pure.
Otherwise it is not love at all what one is experiencing, but some kind of 'agape'.
If love does not contain any passion, it cannot stand the troubled times either.
I am very certain that uncontrolled sexual drive is not a pure love, something else is needed..
but I am not declaring a war about love,
you are passionate and I am hopefully rational thinking human being..
I am not talking about uncontrolled sexual drive at all! Are you familiar with the Tantrian philosophy or the mystical, almost sexual visions of the Saints? I meant that love must contain passion (the term 'passion' is quite revealing) and an aspect that it is almost physical, not just spiritual, in order to be truly deep and everlasting.
perhaps depressed sexual drive causes passions
and what is everlasting is human decision
if the decision is firm enough
