Loukkasin polveni ja kulkeminen on nyt kyynärsauvojen varassa. Reissu Riikaan olisi kahden viikon kuluttua. Pääseekö Ryanairin koneeseen kyynärsauvoilla? Entä miten mahdollisen pyörätuolin kuljettaminen onnistuu? (Onkohan Riiasta mahdollista saada pyörätuolia lainaksi pariksi päiväksi?) Kiitos avusta!

Sinun on otettava yhteyttä Ryanairiin tai Pirkkalan Airprohon. Ennen kuin edes yrität päästä koneeseen, nimesi on oltava vammaisten/kulkuesteisten luettelossa (senkin takia, että k.o. matkustajia hyväksytään vain muistaakseni 4 yhdelle lennolle). Pyörätuoli löytyy tarvittaessa.
Jos ei kyynärsauvoilla meno onnistu, koita raahautumista....
Ei vaan, lisämaksun ottavat
-Rullatuolista
-Vasemmasta sauvasta
-Oikeasta sauvasta
Lisäksi sinun pitää lisämaksaa, mikäli haluut ekana koneeseen...
Only 4 passengers with reduced mobility can be accepted on any one flight. Passengers with reduced mobility should preferably contact a Ryanair reservation centre on the day of booking, failure to do so may result in you being unable to travel. Click here for more information.
Can Ryanair provide me a wheelchair for use at the airport?
Yes, assistance required by reduced mobility passengers at the airport is provided free of charge
Passengers should pre-advise Ryanair of both their condition and assistance requirements (if applicable) preferably on the day of flight booking by contacting the Ryanair Special Assistance line (click here).
Please note that our staff may need to ask some questions relating to the health of the passenger who requires this assistance, in order to ensure their complete comfort and care when travelling on our flights.
Failure to pre-advise may result in the service being unavailable on arrival at the airport and you being unable to travel on your booked flight.
Due to the safety regulations passengers requiring the use of mobility equipment at the airport are required to check-in at the airport (any airport check-in fee paid on booking will be refunded at the time that the special services are booked).
Can I bring my own wheelchair/mobility scooter or walking frame?
At the majority of airports you will be permitted to travel to the steps of the aircraft in your own wheelchair, however, some airports such at Girona in Spain do not permit passenger travelling with a battery operated wheelchair to take their own chair to the aircraft and as such it must be checked in and the passenger will be transported to the boarding gate via an airport wheelchair.
Passengers travelling with mobility equipment must check-in at the airport and not online. (Any airport check-in fee paid on booking will be refunded at the time that the special services are booked). Wheelchairs, mobility scooters and walking frames are carried free of charge. The 32kg maximum single item weight does not apply to mobility equipment.
Restrictions apply to the transportation of battery-operated wheelchairs. Non-spillable batteries are acceptable for carriage in the hold of the aircraft provided that the battery is disconnected, the battery terminals are insulated to prevent accidental short circuits and the battery is securely attached to the wheelchair or mobility device by either the passenger or airport special services agent prior to acceptance on the aircraft.
Wheelchairs or mobility devices with spillable batteries cannot be carried.
Should you wish to travel with a wheelchair or mobility device you must contact the Ryanair Special Assistance line (click here) to establish if the device can be carried prior to making a flight booking.

Reissu onnistui hyvin kyynärsauvojen ja pyörätuolin kanssa. Pääsin menemään omalla pyörätuolilla koneeseen asti. Kyynärsauvat olivat matkustamossa mukana. Pirkkalan Airprosta sain hyvät toimintaohjeet ennen matkaa ja palvelu pelasi hienosti lentokentillä. Pyörätuolista ei aiheutunut lisäkustannuksia, vaikka en voinutkaan tehdä on-line lähtöselvitystä ennakkoon.
