Onko otsikon viruksesta kokemuksia? Jostain linkistä luikerteli. Alkoi netissä sivujen vieritys hidasteleen (vierittää tosi jälkijättöisesti), muuten kaikki tuntuisi toimivan normaalisti. Vaikka virus saatiin koneelta pois? poistamalla kohde, joku Britney, tai jotain sen tyyppistä, hidastelee sivun vieritys edelleen. Mitähän pitäisi tehdä???

Se on ollut koneella ilmeisesti jo kauemmin, nyt vasta saanut näkyvää aikaiseksi. Miksei f-seguren ajantasalla oleva ohjelma ole aikaisemmin ilmoittanut viruksesta?
Tuo mato tuhoaa aika paljo tiedostoja,joutuu vissiin asentaa Windowssin uusiks:

Britney.jpg Trojan spreading fast over IRC

Apparently people still click before they think on IRC. A new tricky Trojan is currently spreading fast over IRC, and with disastrous results for those who fall for the trick.
The original version of the file spreads as a URL to a file called britney.jpg on a Angelfire website. The file in fact is not a Jpeg image. As a way of handling such errors, Internet Explorer will display the contents of the file as a HTML file. A line containing Javascript inside the britney.jpg file is doing the rest.
On infection the Trojan will disable a list of security related programs such a firewall's and anti-virus programs if these are installed and running on the system.
Next the Trojan will replace a list of system files including notepad.exe and regedit.exe. Probably most destructive is what it is doing in the registry. Besides adding a list of new keys that will aid the Trojan in further spreading, it will also delete entries, including the complete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE section. Also a list of files from the system32 directory will be deleted.
On infection with this Trojan it is most likely Windows will not boot anymore.
