Suomeksi: MS pelottelee, uhkailee ja luo epävarmuutta, jotta ihmiset eivät jättäisi sitä. Lisäksi MS valehteli tilastotiedoista.

Paino sanalla "well-engineered" kuten olen toistuvasti maininnut olivat Xandros ja Linpus täysin vääriä jakeluita miniläppäreihin.
"Continually repeating that we ‘confirmed’ a 4x return over XP when we did nothing of the sort is really not worthy of a great company like Microsoft. If we are going to compete, let’s do it on real facts and actual statements. You’re better than that, Redmond"
Uutisessa kerrottiin:
"Microsoft added that Canonical itself has said that its Linux netbooks are returned at a rate more than four times as high as Windows netbooks. Kenyon said that Canonical never said anything like that and it is a complete lie"

Mielnkiintoiseksi asian tekee siis se että vaikka globaalisti asia on näinkin näkyvä niin miksei suomalaisissa tietokonelehdissä tai niiden blogeissa ole aiheesta mitään mainintoja?
Ei Microsoft voi ikuisuuksiin antaa Windows XP:tä ilmaiseksi.
Canonicalhan vasta alkaa puskemaan ubuntu-minejä markkinoille tai ainakin toivottavasti, ainakin monet laitevalmistajat tutkivat asiaa. Jos niitä ubuntu-minejä 9.04/9.10/10.04 alkaa tulemaan markkinoille niin seiskan hinnankin on tultava alas, kuinka kauas mikkiksen heikko kate kantaa?
Sotaa ei suinkaan ole vielä mihinkään hävitty, sitä on hädin tuskin edes julistettu.
Kesän tienoilla alkaa tapahtua, vastahyökkäys muunmuassa FreeScalen ja Always Innovatingin avustuksella. Tuo Always Innovatingin kone antaa sellaisia mahdollisuuksia mitä ei Windowskoneella ole vielä koskaan nähty.
Lisäksi niin kuin täällä on jo mainittu, Canonical ei ole kertonut moninkertaisista palautusmääristä. MSI on, ja silloinkin se johtajamies sanoi, ettei hänellä "ole mitään hajua asiasta, mutta veikkaan että"...

Elikkä Microsoftin luku on vain USAssa. Globaalisti Linuxilla on vielä 30%. Repikää siitä hupia. ^^
Täälläpä onkin Linuxkoneiden määrä 100%. Siis minun omistuksessani. Helppohan noita tilastoja on väännellä...

Uskon kyllä siihen että ihmiskunta pikkupikkupikkuhiljaa viisastuu kun tieto jaetaan. Kun tietoa jaetaan, levitetään ja saadaan ihmiset ymmärtämään niin moni asia paranee. Tämä pätee ihan kaikkeen tietoon.
