Forget all the other cheats - this is one like no other!
Firstly, you need to have got the 'What If? Contest' cheat.
Go to the Spidey vs Scorpion level or the 2nd level.
Save J Johan Jameson with the Peter Parker Costume.
Then go to any level and you will find some added bit that will
make your game more entertaining. Examples of these include:
a blimp, a submarine (that you can race), pictures of an ugly
man with a sun, one-eyed Roman Emperors - to name but a few.

ARMOR

In the sewer caverns level, you can get the Spidey Armor suit to absorb
damage (useful too, since the subway car is right after). In the area of
the sewer caverns where you have to use your web aiming ability to swing
between the thin pipes, you'll notice a waterfall across from the two
pipes in the wall spouting water. Aim at the waterfall when you're on the
nearest pipe to it and your indicator will turn green. You'll then swing
into this room behind the waterfall containing the Spidey Armor and some
other stuff. I've only tried this on the easy mode so far, though.

if you have unlocked any costumes select 1 and than go the the character
screen select spider-man and the costume u select will be what spider-man
is having on

SHORTCUT:

when you begin the level "chopper chase", and you go past a couple of
buildings, you will see an orange balloon. jump and swing to it and when
you land, you have to dodge the machine guns of the chopper .keep doing
this until spiderman automatically jumps off the edge to the area where
you have to get to the top of the building,dodging the missiles (the next
area).

COSTUME:

AMAZING BAGMAN:
Beat all of the 'NeverSoft' scores in the Training Mode.

PETER PARKER:
Go to the 'Item Hunt' in Training Mode and collect all of
the spiders on the first floor in under a minute. Rush down to the
'?' door underneath the number '4' door. This will lead to the
secret Kraven room where you collect the Peter Parker costume.

SCARLET SPIDER:
Defeat Rhino on level 3-1 "Spidey vs. Rhino!".

BEN REILLY:
Defeat Venom, without losing a life, on "Spidey vs. Venom!".

Get right near a guard and hold triangle and circle if you have grabbed
him press square and you should be on his shoulders then keep pressing
square to punch him.

SHORTCUT.:

start a game on hard mode until you get to the stage where the annoying
police helicopter ia chasing you(the first time you see the helicopter,
just after you defeat scorpion).keep running/webslinging past a couple of
buildings and you should see an orange balloon.swing across to the balloon
and it will go to the menu where you can save or continue.when you start
playing, keep dodging the machinegun until spider-man automatically jumps
off the helicopter.it will go to the continue/save menu.when you start
playing, you will find that you have skipped the whole of the last stage
and you will be on the stage where you have to dodge the missiles on the
half built building(or maybe it is half being knocked down!!).

stand in front of one of the power generators and wait until he's getting ready to charge
and move out of the way make him charge into all four of them two times to win

FINDING COMIC # 3 IN THE GAME:

In the current walkthrough description of the game, comic #3 is said to be
in the starting hallway after you defeat the first five thugs, when it is
actually right outside the first metal detector after you defeat the final
three thugs who are in the room with the bomb and 2 hostages.

when you go to the level where you are running from the helicopters the
helicopters will shoot out two windows on top of a building.jump down a
knock out the enemies that are there and then shoot a web ball at the
walls.one will have a hidden magazine behind it.

jump on the sign that has the lizard man on it and he should say "monsters
infest sewers"

FLYING KICK/PUNCH:

when you are fighting people during the game, push jump(X). while in
in the air, push either punch(square) or kick(triangle). if u do it
correctly, spiderman will speed down to the ground and hit the target.
there is a distance limit, though he can fly pretty far. also it takes a
couple hits to kill the target in EASY mode, i have not checked MEDIUM or
HARD modes yet.

HIDDEN SPIDY ARMOR::

when you are in the level where there are a lot of doors and you have to
find the one that will open, first of all, i THINK the open door is the
one labeled "A". second of all, where there is the simbiote generator if
you climb up that, there is either a light on the side of it, or a hole in
it (depending on which side you go up).if you see the light, circle the
wall until you get to the hole. then you go into it and there is a spidy
armor there (in EASY mode anyway, i have not tested MEDIUM or HARD yet).
that will buy some time to find the door.

ZIP DOWN TO FLOOR:

when you hit r1 you zip up to the roof. while on the roof you hit r1
again and you will shoot a web to the floor.

when fighting scorpion,hit him 3x and then shoot him with youre web.repeat
this until he is dead.(ive only tried this on easy)

ARMOR AND A MAGAZINE:

on the warehouse 65 level, after destroying all the genarators and
getting to the pit that takes you to the next level, do not go in it
yet! use the targeting mode and aim at the jail door behind the pit
(the third jail door). the color will turn blue. use the web ball
while holding L1. it will come down and their will be a magazine
behind it. go back to the pit and then press R1. when on top of
the pit you can aim down in it. look in and you will see an opening.
swing to it and their will be armor inside!!

LOCATION OF ALL 32 COMIC BOOKS:

Location of all 32 comic books:
1 Bank Approach:
Book 1 can be found on the top level of the fantastic four building.

2 Hostage Situation:
Book 2 can be found under the chair in the cubicle on the second half
of the level.

3 Stop the Bomb!:
To get book 3, free the hostages and return to the hallway just prior
to the first security door.

4 Race to the Bugle:
Book 4 can be collected beside the big building after the game cuts to
the FMA of the two henchmen.

5 Spidey Vs. Scorpion:
Book 5 will reveal itself after you destroyed all the furniture in the
room.

6 Police Chopper Chase:
Book 6 is behind the box on the right-front on the last building.

7 Building Top Chase:
Book 7 is located inside the Goblin Crane Lair.

8 Scale The Girders:
Book 8 can be found on the left side of the building on the ledge.

9 Police Evaded:
Book 9 is in the building with the skylights that get destroyed. To
get the book shoot the broken glass. It'll be located behind the
glass.

10 Spidey Vs. Rhino:
Book 10 can be found after destroying every barrel in the level. You
can find the comic in the middle of the Electric Pylons.

11 Catch Venom:
Book 11 is located on the Incomplete building.

12 Catch Venom:
Book 12 is locate on the roof of one of the buildings.

13 Spidey Vs. Venom:
Book 13 is under the car. Lift the car and toss it away. The comic
will appear.

14 Sewer Entrance:
Book 14 is located inside the first hallway. Walk to the Cavern and
then return.

15 Sewer Cavern:
Book 15 can be found behind the waterfall.

16 Sewer Plant:
Book 16 can be found by walking down the hallway and turn left, walk
to the end.

17 Hidden Switches:
Book17 can be revealed by pressing the fourth switch and return to the
third switch.

18 Tunnel Crawl:
Book 18 can be found by hitting the switch on the first box, and the
comic will be in the second box.

19 The Lizard's Maze:
To get book 19 talk to the lizard.

20 Symbiotes Infest Bugle:
Book 20 is located in the vent with the Hostage.

21 Elevator Descent:
To get book 21 walk down the Hallway, it'll be at the bottom-left.

22 Stop the Presses:
To get book 22 lift and throw the stack of paper located on the second
half of the level.

23 Bugle's Basement:
Book 23 can be found by shooting all four leaking pipes.

24 Spidey Vs. Mysterio:
Book 24 can be found by destroying all of the target on the first
stage, the comic will become visible on the bottom level.

25 Waterfront Warehouse:
Book 25 is hidden in the alcove.

26 Waterfront Warehouse:
Book 26 is located at the end of the level, just prior to opening the
vent that leads to the next level, you must locate the hidden room
behind the grating. It's the last grating before the end of the level.

27 Underwater Trench:
Book 27 can be found in the second machinery room you'll find a hidden
switch. Return to the part where all of the gun turrets are (at the
beginning of the level) and access the secret door.

28 Stopping The Fog:
Book 28 is in the center column, a small room will be located in the
bottom portion.

29 Spidey Vs. Doc Ock:
To get book 29 be ready , it'll appear after Doc Ock's shield
regenerates the first time. It'll only appear for a few seconds, so
grab it quick.

30 Spidey Vs. Carnage:
Book 30 is located in the middle of the bubble it'll appear and
disappear and then appear and then disappear.

31 Spidey Vs. Monster-Ock:
Book 31 can be found at the first bend in the pipe.

32 Spidey Vs. Monster-Ock:
Book 32 can be found about 3/4 of the way through the level.
