Earth, 2019: A colossal asteroid crashes down to Earth.
The North Korean Government quickly seals off the island chain, claiming the mysteries of the asteroid for themselves. The United States responds by dispatching an elite team of Delta Force Operators to recon the situation and report back to the Pentagon. Amid rising tensions between the US and North Koreans, the asteroid suddenly bursts open, revealing a massive, 2km high alien ship. The ship generates an immense force sphere, freezing a vast portion of the island and drastically altering the global weather system. The invasion of Earth has begun.
Crysis uses the leading-edge technology of Crytek’s proprietary engine CryENGINE 2.

Crytek has confirmed that a 360 version of Crysis is in development. It should be noted, however, that the game will not be a port of the PC version, but rather an entirely new game built from the ground up. The reasoning for this decision, according to the devs, is that the PC game simply couldn't run on an Xbox 360. Given that the title uses many of the advanced features of DirectX 10 (the 360 uses DirectX 9), this isn't too surprising -- although the explanation contradicts earlier statements from the developers. The game will reportedly share many elements with its PC counterpart, but contain entirely different graphics and gameplay.

Täytyy sanoa että aika turhanlaista tollasen
pelin kun crysiksen julkaisu konsoleille. Kun ei edes
hyvällä pc:eellä pyöri hirveän korkeilla resoluutiolla.
Saa nähdä että minkälaista suttua tulee. Ihme että ei julkaista
PS1 konsolille. On se sen verran epätoivoinen yritys.
