Tuo kyseinen Apina on tyhmempi kuin apinat yleensä, siis apinathan on yleensä perin älykkäitä olentoja, tuo Apina tekee tosin siihen melkoisen poikkeuksen. Voisi jopa sanoa että hänen kutsuminen Apinaksi on loukkaus apinoita kohtaan.
Hän on enemmän ameeban tasoa älyltään, joskin sekin vertaus loukkaa ameeboja mutta pakko johonkin verrata kun ei mitään muutakaan ole. :)
...että häntä ei voi verrata muuta kuin itseensä. Toisin sanoen hän on sitä "ihtiään".
Kyllä Steven rauhoittumaan saa "tsiki-tski Steve otahan banaani ja kampaa pyllysi" ja toimii.
