Hinta alle puolet umpisurkeaan TradElectiin verrattuna. Joten laatu, turvallisuustaso ja käytettävyys paranee ja 55-60% alennus. Niin sitä pitää...

Kun ajat paranee niin kaupankäyntikin lisääntyy. Windowsillla nimenomaan oli niin pahoja kapasitettiongelmia että piti ottaa ammattilaisten vehkeet käyttöön kun pelikoneilla ei noissa hommissa oikein pärjää. ;)

Niinpä niin. Massiivisessa kaupankäynnissä käytettävän käyttöjärjestelmän täytyy olla todella hyvä. Microsoftin viritelmä ei täyttänyt tätä kriteeriä joten Lontoon Pörssi valitsi Linuxin ja Solariksen yhdistelmän.

Niillähän oli parivuotta vanha TradElect, world-beating trading performance-ominaisuudella varustettu Microsoftin vartavasten heitä varten huippukalliilla rakentama uusi systeemi.
Siinä ei ollut kuin yksi pikku vika. Se ei toiminut! ;)
oli onnettoman pieni vika,.. tosiaan.
Penahan tuon olisi korjannut joku viikonloppu...
windows on vähän kuin venäläinen perseensuristin, joka ei sovi perseeseen eikä surise. muuten toimii hyvin.
Linux on kjotikäyttäjille tuntemattomuus, 99% kotikäyttäjoistä valitsee Microsoft Wiondowsin. Jos meet kadulle kyseleen ihmisiltä mikä on Linux tai Ubuntu niin harva tietää.
nykyäänhän kouluissa on pikkuhiljaa siirrytty linuxiin joten kyllä se nuoremmille alkaa tuttu olemaan.
