The Department of Defense — which has long clung to proprietary software despite such wonderful memories as when the Yorktown Aegis missile cruiser went dead-in-the-water thanks to a Windows NT problem back in 1997 — is finally embracing open source as well. "

Ei noin, vaan koko Aegis-luokan ohjusristeilijän toiminnot halvaantuivat Windows NT:ssä olleen pikku pokkelon takia. Kuuro ja sokea ohjusristeilijä on sota-aluksena yhtä hyödyllinen kuin pelastusveneensä: molemmista voi tiirailla mitä ulapalla tapahtuu. ;)
Risteilijä on hieman helpompi maali vihollisen ohjuksille ja siten turvattomampi kuin se pelastusvene.
