Dell osaa jännällä tavalla hämmentää mediasoppaa. Vastoin yleistä luuloa Dell ei ole lemppamassa Ubuntua/Linuxia. Päinvastoin. DELL VAIN LISÄÄ LINUX-TARJONTAA!!!

...eli päivän pari eli "varma tieto" siitä, että Dell ei enää myykään Ubuntua.
Linuxistit uskoo kaiken mitä netissä kirjoitetaan.
...sillä se todellakin haluaa tarjota Ubuntu/Linuxia vaihtoehtona. Mutta toisaalta Microsoft on Robert Pogsonin tietojen mukaan maksanut firmalle n. 100 miljoonaa dollaria jotta Dell suosisi vain Windowsia. Näin ollen Dell myy - matalalla profiililla - myös Ubuntua mutta niin, että saa rahaa myös Microsoftilta.
Pogson varoittaakin Delliä että muut ei top 5:een kuuluvat valmistajat saattavat Linuxin osalta ajaa vuoden sisällä sen ohi. Tämä vuosi on nimittäin tablettien läpimurtovuosi ja kaksilla korteilla pelaaminen ei auta. Microsoftilla ei nimittäin ole mitään tarjottavanaan tablet-rintamalla. Ja tuossa piilee vaara Dellille.
