• I have remained silent when I should have spoken. Lisäkilipsrauhasen / parathyroid diagnosis and andenoma removal - been there, done that.

    Take this advice very seriously:

About 10 years ago when I had high blood serum calcium:
    1. Finnish doctors were incompetent in diagnosis if I had a parathyroid problem
    2. And as long as calcium would have remained high but not very high - I would not have gotten a surgery anyway. Instead I would have been left with a higher risk of heart and cardiovascular diseases etc.
    3. If I would have got a surgery they would have made a deep cut along the complete front of the throat and target one or two parathyroids that would be suspected to have andonema. Whereas at the same time Sweden and Germany had much better diagnostic methods and removal methods = Parathyroidectomy.

In my case I gave up on doctors here, sent my results to Norman Parathyroid Center, who confirmed what I basically knew - that I had an andenoma, and welcomed me for surgery. And off I went. I was lucky to have an insurance that covered the hefty total cost of about 20000 USD. If you can afford Norman P. C., they are top!
