Harmillista. Missään ei kerrottu, mitä ajuriversioita käytettiin missäkin järjestelmässä.
Niinpä, esim itsellä kun pelasin Urban Terroria Windowsilla, FPS oli vain 60-70! mutta Ubuntu 11.04essa FPS oli 125 ja se onkin maksimi mihin FPS Limitterin saa, kun ei saa pois päältä. Molemmissa oli siis FPS rajoittimet 125, mutta Windowsilla sinne asti ei päästy kuten Ubuntulla.
Ubuntu ei noiden testien perusteella todellakaan ole nopeampi kun ottaa takkiin noinkin reippaasti.
Kandee katsoa ajureista onko niissä Vertical Sync -asetus päällä jos tuntuu että koneessa olisi potkua isompiin FPS:iin. Joissain peleissä rajoitus on kyllä ihan itessään päällä, esim. Doom 3 mutta taitaa senkin saada pois jollain kikalla.
Kuitenkin tuossa oli siis Linux-foorumin oma testi ja toisinkuin monet muut niin tuo sivusto ei ole puolueellinen vaan silloinkun Linux häviää niin se sanotaan suoraan ja tässä siis sellainen tapaus.
Tässä kyllä sellainen homma, että Windows 7:ssa ei ole mitään ajureita mitä tarvitaan 3D-grafiikan piirtoon, joten Windows 7 ei vastaa piirrosta millään tavalla.

Nyt taitaa Linux-peräkammaripoika katsoa sen verran kieroon että kyseessä on eri versio Ubuntusta ja vielä eri versio Mac Ministä.
