This one works on my AFK DVD-101 (the same as for AFK DVD-100 which was
posted by flipper):
press the setup button
input:1369
press left button in the middle 3x
press the right button in the middle 1x
then in the display will appear a new collum "version" in the bottom.
move the cursor to choose the version then change the codenumber by pressing
up and down code number is"0"is code free.
Bonus tip for finnish users:
To get player automatically choose finnish subtitles, choose setup ->
preference setup -> subtitle -> others -> 7073
