Bus from Malaga to Marbella Bus Station

malaga airport busesThe Airport Bus goes directly from Malaga Airport to Marbella Bus Station via the Toll Road. The journey time is 45 minutes and it costs €6,50 single fare which is cheaper than the toll road charge during the summer months.

If your final destination is close to Marbella Bus Station then you have a very cheap and easy journey. If you are not close to Marbella Bus Station then your journey could involve several changes.

Paying: At Malaga Airport you no longer pay the bus driver but you get your ticket at a booth outside the arrivals hall near to the bus stops. It is good if you have some change as you will hold up the queue if you try and pay using €50 notes! At Marbella Bus Station you buy a ticket from the ticket office.

Summary: The Airport Bus is great and cheap and takes just 45 minutes. In winter only one bus operates nearly every 2 hours so you may have to wait a long time. In the summer the buses are more frequent but you may not get on as they can get very busy. So you need to make sure you are in the queue. If you don't mind travelling to Malaga City Bus Station there is a new direct service and also indirect service to Marbella Bus Station from there.
