Jostain syystä oon sellanen puusilmä etten saa locale hommeleita kuntoon Wheezyssä. Oon koittanu tehdä näiden ohjeiden mukaan. http://wiki.debian.org/Locale
Oon poistanu kaiken "/etc/default/locale" tiedostosta ja ajanut "dpkg-reconfigure locales"
Tämmönen tulee vastaukseksi:
$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales

Mistä nuo suomenkieliset asetukset oikein tulee? /etc/default/locale sisältää vain "LANG=en_US.UTF-8"

Mistä nuo suomenkieliset asetukset oikein tulee? /etc/default/locale sisältää vain "LANG=en_US.UTF-8"
Vastaukset 6
Vanhimmat
Kokeile asentaa uudestaan paketit debconf, debconf-i18 ja locales.
/etc/default/locale
# File generated by update-locale
LANG="fi_FI.UTF-8"
Laitoin "/etc/environment" tiedostoon LC_ALL="en_US.UTF8"
(gnome-control-center:7229): Gtk-WARNING **: Theme parsing error: unity.css:31:20: Not using units is deprecated. Assuming 'px'.
Segmentation fault
Huh, kun pukkaa bugia jos toista.. Evolutionkaan ei toimi kunnolla.
>> Mistä nuo suomenkieliset asetukset oikein tulee?

a) Alla squeezen /etc/default/locale (tämän loi komento: update-locale)
___________________________
# File generated by update-locale
LANG="fi_FI.UTF-8"
___________________________
b) Squeezen /etc/locale.gen (tämän loi komento: locale-gen)
- eli hirmu pitkä lista eri lokaaleja, joista huomioidaan vaan ne rivit,
joiden edessä ei oo risuaitamerkkiä # . Mulla ilman risuaitaa VAIN yksi rivi:
fi_FI.UTF-8 UTF-8
_____________________________________________________________
# This file lists locales that you wish to have built. You can find a list
# of valid supported locales at /usr/share/i18n/SUPPORTED, and you can add
# user defined locales to /usr/local/share/i18n/SUPPORTED. If you change
# this file, you need to rerun locale-gen.
---
# eu_FR.UTF-8 UTF-8
# eu_FR@euro ISO-8859-15
# fa_IR UTF-8
# fi_FI ISO-8859-1
fi_FI.UTF-8 UTF-8
# fi_FI@euro ISO-8859-15
# fil_PH UTF-8
# fo_FO ISO-8859-1
# fo_FO.UTF-8 UTF-8
# fr_BE ISO-8859-1
# fr_BE.UTF-8 UTF-8
...

yksi rivi:
fi_FI.UTF-8 UTF-8
Sen jälkeen aja locale-gen
b) tsekkaa että konffitiedostossa
/etc/default/locale
on vain nämä rivit:
# File generated by update-locale
LANG="fi_FI.UTF-8"
LANG=en_US.UTF-8
#LANGUAGE=en_US.UTF-8
LC_CTYPE=fi_FI.utf8
LC_NUMERIC=fi_FI.utf8
LC_TIME=fi_FI.utf8
LC_COLLATE=fi_FI.utf8
LC_MONETARY=fi_FI.utf8
#LC_MESSAGES=fi_FI.utf8
LC_PAPER=fi_FI.utf8
LC_NAME=fi_FI.utf8
LC_ADDRESS=fi_FI.utf8
LC_TELEPHONE=fi_FI.utf8
LC_MEASUREMENT=fi_FI.utf8
LC_IDENTIFICATION=fi_FI.utf8
#LC_ALL=
No voi niitä suoraankin editoida tuonne /etc/default/locale -tiedostoon. Jo pelkällä yhdellä rivillä
LANG=fi_FI.utf8
