It’s official: the rainy season’s here
PHUKET: The Southern Meteorological Center (West Coast) today issued an advisory suggesting that hotels and the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s Phuket office inform tourists (in case they hadn’t noticed) that it is now the rainy season.
Heavy showers in the 24 hours to 7 am today dumped 67.7 mm of rain on the island.
Vichit Phuangsombat, Director of the center, told the Gazette, “Phuket is now in the rainy season. There will be rain until the end of this month. There will also be some rain in November, though not much.”

Tuo on köyhän provo! Lämmintä Phuketissa riittää, päivisin 35 ja yölläkin 25! Joten ei välillä tulevat sadekuurot tropiikissa mitään haittaa!

Senpä vuoksi vaimon kanssa vasta joulukuussa Phukettiin.
just tultiin kyseisestä paikasta. Vaikka sadekausi onkin vielä, tosin loppusuoralla, emme nähneet sadetta juuri ollenkaan. Kerran taksilla ajaessamme, näimme muutaman sadepisaran auton tuulilasilla, mutta se siitä. Eli ei kannata pelätä tota sadekautta! Matkaan vaan. Ihanaa on!
Mäkin tulin just Phuketista ja kyllä ainakin mun puoltoista viikkoisen loman aikana satoi. Kolme päivää meni kokonaan sadetta pitäessä ja lähtöaamunakin satoi. Phuketista ainakin puuttuu sellaiset sadepäivänkohteet. Ostoskeskuksetkin olivat aika,sanoisinko, heikommanpuoleisia...
shoppailu mahdollisuudet hyvät,tavaratalot ihan ok. ja laadukasta tavaraa.
oli sadekausi;kahden viikon lomamme aikana tulopäivänä satoi kunnolla, sen jälkeen vesitippoja näkyi ainoastaan auton tuulilasissa pari kertaa.
Lämmintä oli, joinakin päivinä pilvistä. Rauhallista oli, vähän turisteja, palvelu erinomaista! Menemme samaan aikaan toistekin!
