Can anyone tell what this is?
I visited another forum, where one asked what is is English "kauppa-auto". This is a big car, that drives along (like ice-cream -vans) but it is like a mini shop with bread, milk, meat, tissues etc.
PS: What IS a mobile shop - does it sell mobile phones, or how do you understand the word?

Hi,
I don't think you can find an exact translation for the word you are looking for. I asked around and most people would understand your meaning if you would use a word 'travelling shop'.
There is such a thing as a mobile library (kirjastoauto) so I presume you could use 'mobile shop' as per same principal.
But I would think which ever word you use you would need to explain a little further... It is very Finnish concept after all : ).
