Hi folks, after 3 days of mucking around with my new Zen MX, I have finally found a way of getting videos onto it by dragging and dropping - which, incidentally, I was told could not be done.
Here are the steps:
[I converted my video from MPEG to WMV using AVS Video Converter 7 - WMV is one of the file extensions that the Creative Zen MX Centrale accepts]
1. Make a note of which folder your video is in.
2. Attach Zen MX to computer and click open CENTRALE.
3. Click VIDEO picture [left top] and receive VIDEO heading.
4. Click ZEN MX (E:) [left bottom] and receive FOLDERS and TRANSFER LIST.
5. Click FOLDERS.
6. Receive window with FOLDERS [right hand pane].
7. Away from CENTRALE, open your folder where the video is.
8. Drag and drop the video into the right hand pane FOLDER of CENTRALE.
9. Click TRANSFER LIST [bottom left] to see process of file being converted and put onto Zen MX.
