Riiassa söimme useamman kerran Lidossa. Itse saa valita mitä syö useista vaihtoehdoista tiskiltä. Näet mitä saat. Ruoka oli edullista ja olut halpaa ainakin jokunen vuosi sitten. Riiasta menimme junalla Jurmalaan katsomaan hiekkarantoja , uimaan ja kävimme vesipuistossa. Puistoissa käveltiin. Esim. Näköalaravintolat Reval Latvija, Radisson blue latvijasta kivat näkymät. Mies tykkäsi zeppelin hangaareista.
