Aftonbladet tested 6 cars in a winter test. Below
freezing, icy roads, and darkness. The test was
conducted in a village by the name of Kall
("Cold"
in Swedish) in northern Sweden, and the roads
were
icy enough that they were hard to walk on with
normal shoes. Decide for yourself how relevant

heavily in, should have made the A4 comfortable.
But on a bumpy winter road it bounces like a
gokart. The suspension comfort is embarassingly
bad. The heating is best in test though.

Mercedes, but it isn't enough to make the new
C-class a safe winter car. The lights are as good
as the Volvo's, but nowadays lack real wipers.

The gas-based lamps (Xenon?) look aesthetically
pleasing, but they blind oncoming traffic and are
too weak to light up the road well. In other
regards it is a good winter vehicle, with safe
driving dynamics and good heating. Mondeo is a
good buy with an excellent engine and a lot of
equipment for the price.

It doesn't matter how much computing power you
put
in the anti-skid systems, rear-wheel drive is
never good in the wintertime. The test car has
ESP
as optional equipment, but still skids as soon as
the road gets frozen over.
VW Passat 1,8T

Volkswagen, infamous for brakes that do not work
during wintertime, hasn't changed in this regard.
The lights are substandard. Buy another car, or
extra lights. In other regards the Passat is an
ok
winter vehicle, no more, no less.

bemaria taitaa mieli tehä ku täällä hehkutat...
toisen testin ja huomaat kuinka kyseistä volvoa
on haukuttu poikeuksellisen _paljon_!
mene, kun täytyy jokaisella palstalla hehkuttaa
tuota ruåtsalaisten vertailua. Saatpahan ainakin
heikon itsetuntosi vahvistusta, kun on alla auto,
jota on kehuttu yhdessä vertailussa.
PS. Kai olet muistanut mainita vertailusta
kaikille työtovereillesi ja naapureillesi? Ai
niin muistahan laittaa tulokset myös Mese-
palstalle.
Ilmankos ajat jollain Volvolla jos et takavetoista
osaa ajaa talvella! Teikäläisillehän tommoset
testit on tehty! Tosi autoila osta auton omilla
perusteilla, ei testien!!
BMW:ssä ei ole ESP:ttä vaan DSC, sitä ei kerrota
oliko testissä olevassa 320:ssä se. Nimittäin jos
haluaa "turvallisen" talviauton bemarista niin
pitää ottaa DSC. Ja huomatkaa nuo ""-merkit,
nimittäin itse pidän BMW:ttä turvallisempana kuin
montaa muuta, koska sen käytös on tiedettävissä
useimmmissa ajotilanteissa.
DSC on vaan siitä vittumainen että jos on "liian"
liukasta niin se ei vaan anna vetoa takapyörille..
eli kannattaa muistaa jos jää kiinni niin ei muuta
kuin dsc pois ja heijjaamaan...
...autojen paremmuusjärjestys riippuu paljon
siitä että kuka testin tekee! Ruotsalainen lehti
ruotsalainen auto.On vertailuja missä järjestys
on aivan toinen!
Eikös muutama talvi sitten 530 diisseli?
Muistaakseni tullut luokassaan toiseksi, kun oli
ko. sarjalaisten talviautotesti. Voittaja oli
muistaakseni 9-5 suappi. Ei takaveto haittaa kun
on pitoa ja muutenkin asialliset vehkeet. Volvon
menestystä tai menestymättömyyttä en muista,
mutta häviäjä tais olla joku jenkki pirssi.
oli testikakkonen jos valot jätetään arvostelun
ulkopuolelle! Eli ajamiseen, mukavuuten ja
lämmitykseen liittyvät asiat ovat kunnossa!
Siinäpä teille "merkkiautomiehille" purtavaa!!!
