hi , Im from northof africa . if u like the wether then u have 50% of the problemes solved .in finland there is more good things then negafive one´s . but also depence on you how you want to live ur life . it is all ur chose, good luke .

Living in Finland?? Umm..I am from the USA, Texas. I've been here for about six months now and will return home in the next few months. Finland is completely different from where I live, altho, quite a lot like some smaller towns in east coast and north.
I love the snow, but get tired of it after being here for so long, really would love the sun to shine and grass to start smell fresh. Finland is very beautiful and clean. I don't know if there's lots of bad sides, but people now speaking English, especially older ones turns out being a problem at times. Also people here are a lot more rude than in the US but it's all just a culture thing. Umm..Don't know what else to say, hehe!- Tail wags the dog

Only in Finland can a woman, former left-wing party-, SETA´s (stands for sexual equality)member and power figure, not so good looking ´ with an bad accent - win elections and get a presidents seat! Only imagine all the difficulties what an "ugly" woman must go through if she is determinded to accive goals in this life.. I´m proud. Finns respect brains. It would be nice if she were more nobel like but I take merely a vice leader than a just a pretty face. This could never happen in France, German or especially in USA(go freedom go).
I hope that this situation will always remain the same in Finland. - Washington

Hello! As a Finn I can only imagine what you would think is a good thing and what is a bad. Where are you from by the way? Are you coming to Finland? Anyway, I`ve heard many people say that the coldness is a bad thing but I`m just used to it I guess ;) I could say a good thing is definately the nature. I`d suggest you to visit http://virtual.finland.fi/ , lots of good information there! Oh, and Lapland is definately worth visiting! :)

I am originally from England but have lived 4 yrs in Finland and would say that it´s absolutely great. Pretty women, clean nature, lots of drinking ;). I miss some things though e.g pubs, politeness etc....am not saying that the Finns arent really polite, but sometimes they are a bit hmmm...rude&impolite or not so talkative, but thats the way they are and it´s great in a way, innit :)

Well, I know what you are saying BUT. I´d say that the Estonian style and everything is just so different. Finnish women are more like scandinavians, but that´s my opinion and you can have yours :) btw I´ve been here for yrs so I definitely know what I´m talking about.
