We recommend you all to boycott from this day on (2th June 2005) all products of the candy producer Leaf International having one of their units in Turku, Finland.
Due to unfair cuts in the number of workers at the Turku factories and the planned closing down of the factory we have started a boycott on all the Leaf products in Finland and elsewhere alike.
Furthermore, this company has been guilty of criminal acts against their own employees, when they at 2th June 2005 informed them at 1 PM, that their salaries will be cut down by 50% from 2 PM on the same day. Naturally, the employees hearing this left the Turku factory premises immediately. Later on the Leaf company cancelled the attempt to cut the salaries, but is now threatening to renew their try next Monday.
We plead to You: join the boycott of all the Leaf products by not buying any of their candy products until the Leaf company has improved their manners of treating people and respects the human and social rights in the countries they have their producing and selling activities.
