I needed a new set of wheels after the Scooby went to the great scrapyard in the sky.
The VTEC engine's 8000rpm redline was fun at first but I soon got bored.
With no power available below 6000 it was like driving a car with terrible turbo lag, you'd be approaching a roundabout at 30mph and trying to select 1st gear to get into the powerband.
154bhp from 1.6litres might be clever but only 90lb/ft of torque is utter toilet.
Terrible fuel economy for such a small engine due to the ultra low gearing (90mph@5000rpm in 5th)
I sold it after 10 weeks, replacement Saab is probably slower car on paper but FEELS fast all the time.
