Finland's Nightwish was centered around the vocal feats of Tarja Turunen. Now there´s open place for eye-catching vocalist.
After Ben Moody left Evanescense, Amy Lee has been thinking really hard of her own future. Moody was like Holopainen in Nightwish; the band's principal songwriter, possessing a remarkable ear for vocal hooks and melodies.
Amy Lee should really go to Europe. While her modest little goth metal outfit Evanescence continues to rake in the sales, her cadre of nu-metal hacks playing behind her show no creativity, and the proliferation of weepy piano ballads on Fallen is the wrong way to go. The music is simply too tame; a great voice like that requires much more bombastic arrangements in the songs, not to mention a lot more stylistic dexterity than her band provides.
And it seems that Amy is really joining Nightwish. She didn´t denied her interest of joining the female-fronted, gothic-tinged symphonic metal band. Now we are just waiting a press conference.

Voipi olla äksy, mutta on kuitenkin lähtökohdiltaan punk-mimmi joten bändimaailma on tuttua.

Ei sieltä (toivottavasti) mitään Amy Leetä tule.
Varsinkin USA:n media on sitä mieltä että Amy Lee todellakin tulee Nightwishiin. Ja miksei, upea ääni ja hyvä esiintyjä jolle tärkeintä on musiikki eli sopisi hyvin bändiin
sillä nyt ei todellakaan oo mikään hyvä ääni. Levyllä hyvä mut livenä ai ai ei kuulosta hyvältä. Eikä muutenkaan sovi nightwishiin. Eihän toi typy ees laula mitää oopperaa. jotai ihme huutoa vaan.
