Nokia Networks in trouble ?

Nokia went down today in NYSE and all around the World, I think they are soon selling this Network manufacturing to Ericsson or Cisco. Am I right?, am I?; I am...?

  • Hmmmm... Did I step on your toes ? -lol- Nokia is Bye Bye, you'll see this when ever there is an other quarterly results released next time. "Suomea", what is this anyway?
I've been wondering for a long time, why Finns wanna buy only Nokia even though those phones are so stupid and doesn't even function as they should... I'd buy something else for a change. This is my own opinion about you guys, somehow I pity you...

Ain't Finland part of Russia ? That explains many things though...

Ollila is leaving Nokia 01.06.2006, that's why there is a little fear that Kallasvuo will break Nokia into small companies after Ollila is gone. Investors doesn't trust Kallasvuo as he have done some stupid things with Finnish tax-officials.

I think you are right, Nokia Networks is in trouble and will not be part of 'mother' Nokia for long anymore.

  • It is not the case that only Networks are in trouble. If you see the news today, operators are planning to increase cell phone billing because of the EU. EU wants that all the operators in EU have to offer phonecalls with the same rate as they are in 'home country'.

If phonecalls, SMSs etc. will get more expencive people will loose all the interests in phones and will start playing with something else.

I am already saving and I took cheaper cell-plan. I also have lost all the interests in phones and now that I think this Mobile-crap more, it all feels stupid already :-)

I personally do think that Nokia will show very bad results on this coming round. There is few reasons for that

1-Kallasvuo is leading and makes some rediculous comments and mistakes

2-Nokia tried to make previous results appear better that the real market was

3-LG, Samsung and Motorola have taken huge marketshare this quarter

4-Ericsson Networks are much bigger that Nokia and they are already facing some ramp-downs on 3G technology

5-People are not interested in Mobile tech. anymore.

  • 5-people are not interested in mobile tech anymore..????

  • I agree with 1,2,4,5... 3 though, I suppose you mean that they have stolen some of the market share from Nokia again ? If this is the case I agree with you 100%

What is your estimate, how many % Nokia stock value will go down on June 1st ? 10%, 20% or even more ??
