Have you ever heard about burning children with napalm? And immolating japanese civilians with nuclear weapons? Or U.S. soldiers raping Asian women? Or "hot saucing" --> http://www.religioustolerance.org/spankin9.htm kids ? Or death penalty? Or religious right? Or the fact that 50% of U.S. don't know the world map? Or the fact, that in U.S. Army Manual of Incendiaries there is a recipe for sugar / potaasium chlorate mixture with warning "THAT MUST NOT BE EATEN"? Or PMRC? Or religious nuts who believe that credit cards contain the number of beast 666? Or Ku Klux Klan? Or those stupid surfers in California who don't know that there are big & mean white sharks in the ocean? Or the fact that ppl aged 16 can have the drivers licence but only ppl aged 21 could drink could drink alcohol? Or the fact that trade unions are practically forbidden? Or the (fucking) "manifest destiny"? Or the fact that only 25% of U.S. ppl can speak a foreign language?

And if we are such idiots why do we get the most Nobel prices?

Yes, Harvard, Yale, Princeton etc. may offer top-notch education, but are only open for the minority of people who are filthy rich. The majority goes to other schools, e.g. public schools which don't always offer quality education.

Is that you have to be rich to go to a topnotch school in USA. They value your brain more than your money. You can not buy your way with cash.
If you are a dirt-poor brainiac, your education will be paid for. I have put my child through two of the best schools in the country, wasn't easy, because we are neither rich nor poor. There are programs and cheap loans.
