I owned 4 Skodas in my life. The first (105L)
lost its right rear strut on 4500km. The second
(120L) got holes in rocker panels after just 2 CZ
winters so I replaced the panels and sold it. The
third (120LS) had an M8 screw embedded in its
roof pillar so that during each acceleration or
breaking one could hear something rolling inside
the body. I discovered it was a screw when after
just two years the roof developed holes in it and
the screw became visible. The fourth
(130L) I sold in Austria for AS5000 with about
10000km on the odometer when I finally got out of
the country. During that time it already had
the fourth gasket in its water pump!
After an experience like this you can't expect me
to consider buying Skoda, even if it came out
with 150HP 3l V6 with 200pd/ft torque and supply
of beer for life.

Vanhimmat
neljä eri autoa ja neljä vikaa. Itse olisin
onnellinen jos selviäisi tuolla määrällä! 10
vuotiaaseen Camryyni niitä mahtui loppuaikoina
moninkertainen määrä, Escortista pamahti kone
3000 km ajettuna, Civicin nokka-akseli meni
sileäksi 50tkm paikkeilla... Tuollaisella
120LS:llä tosin olen ajellut ongelmitta kolme
vuotta. Kamala autohan se oli monessa suhteessa
mutta ei yhtään sen huonompi kuin nuo muutkaan...
