The Scandal in the European Court of Human Rights and in the Finnish Judical System!
The new Finnish judge to the ECHR Ms. Paivi Hirvela has in the application process in Finland misled the officials in her CV, in which she lied to having been worked as a judge for a total of 9 years.
The weekly magazine "SEURA", among others, has reported, that Ms. Hirvela's experience as a working judge is limited to 2 years, 2 months and 22 days. These facts can be obtained by studying the official Finnish language "Nimikirjanote", supplied by Hirvela's employer, the State Prosecutor's Office.
"SEURA" among some smaller publications has reported the odd procedures.

Astonishly, the so-called Election Panel, that picked up Ms. Hirvela as a candidate, was led by the Chancellor of Justice Mr. Paavo Nikula, and included the president of the Supreme Court Mrs. Pauliine Koskelo, and the president of the Supreme Administrative Court Mr. Pekka Hallberg. That means that the ones, which are first at the firing lines when the ECHR sets out the too often convicting judgements against Finland, they were the ones who selected the judge.
Oddly, the Chancellor of Justice Mr. Nikula has confirmed in writing, that he was in the full knowledge of Ms. Hirvela's unjust inflating of her career to the defeat of other applicants.
Ms. Päivi Hirvelä was scheduled to start at her new post beginning January 1, 2007.
As of today the list of judges of the ECHR does not yet indicate the change of Finnish judges from Mr. Pellonpaa to Ms. Hirvela. Therefore it can not be seen whether Ms. Hirvela has submitted the same misleading CV to the ECHR.
It is totally inconceivable how and why the regretful turmoil in this supposedly righteous process has had a chance to take place here in Finland.
The adverse publicity around her selection due to her falsified application documents has been kept to a minimum here, testifying of the close ties between the small county's media and the judicial and state bureaucracy.
It has been noted in Finland by inspecting and comparing all applications for this post, that Ms. Hirvela may have, and must have, counted the years she had worked as a referendary as being in a position of a judge, or, as she has put it: as an "assistant judge".
In Finnish courts we do not have such a post as an assistant judge.
More importantly yet, in the standpoint of fairness and equality, the other applicants DID NOT falsify their CV's in similar manner, even though many of them had also worked several periods as court referendaries.
The ordinary citizens of Europe, especially of Finland, need the attention of all independent journalists for the disclosure of the obvious scandal at the ECHR, and more importantly, the election procedures of ECHR-judges.
Here underneath please find my letter to the ECHR, a copy of which I have also sent to several of it's judges.

Vanhimmat
hämmästelin.
Pitäis kai joskus katsoa niitten muittenkin CV:t.
Esko hyvä, rajansa kaikella.
...rajansa kaikella.
Hyvin sanottu Hirvelästä ja "Valintapaneelista".
He ylittivät rajan. Se on vihollistoimintaa, hyökkäys kansaa ja oikeusvaltiota vastaan.
Mr. Luzius Wildhaber
The president of the ECHR
As I have earlier informed you as the president of the ECHR, Ms. Paivi Hirvela, the newly elected ECHR-judge had in the application process falsified her CV in a very significant manner.
You have not so far informed about what steps are being taken to safeguard the reputation of the ECHR against this kind of manipulation, especially from the part of the Finnish Government and the so-called "election panel", which nominated Ms. Hirvelä as a candidate, being knowingly fully aware of the Hirvela's lies in her CV, the panel including such figures as the Chancellor of Justice Mr. Paavo Nikula and the president of the Supreme Court Mrs. Pauliine Koskelo, who's doings Ms. Hirvela would be obliged to judge as a ECHR-justice.
Upon inspecting the ECHR web pages it can be noticed confusingly, that Ms. Hirvela as well as the old judge Mr. Pellonpaa are both ECHR-justices. It can also be noticed, that Ms. Hirvela's CV is not included on the list of the CV's of justices.
I have already earlier pointed out and suggested to you Mr. Wildhaber, that you devote this matter your most serious consideration.
Will you kindly acknowledge the receipt of this letter, hopefully together with the confirmation of tough procedures against the unfair play from the part of our Finnish state officials ja Ms. Hirvela.
Kindly,
EK
