Preston Gralla kvasi-informaation suoltaminen jatkuu. Nyt hän on lukenut tarkkaan blogikirjoituksen jonka perusteella hän väittää - täysin virheellisesti- että Linux on hakkeroitu.

"...[this] gives a hacker absolute control over the server. ". This is patently FALSE INFORMATION.
"This backdoor allows a person to execute ANY command with the privileges OF THE USER running the ircd.

"The ircd user has been locked down since 1996. Does it have "absolute control over the server"? NO. In short, this vulnerable application can NOT trash your "My Documents" directory, hijack your browser or infect the system/OS directory. You can defeat the trojan simply by shutting down the unreal service.
I realize you are trying to justify your position by trolling with controversial statements, but there are OTHER ways to accomplish that, like "Notepad vs. Wordpad" or "vi vs emacs". Exposing your readers to dangerous false misconceptions about security... just for page hits... that is a very selfish act."

Tälläkin palstalla on säännöllisesti merkonomeja jotka väittävät ettei malware ole puhtaasti Windowsin ongelma.
