100's of application sent but still no job

First of all, theres not too many openings in Turku. If and when you apply for positions in other locations, the first thing you need to mention is that you are ready to move for the job. Even better if you already have a plan you can briefly mention in your applicaiton.

Secondly, I think you need to focus your efforts on the bigger companies. Sad but true, smaller companies usually tend to skip foreigers because of the language issues. With the bigger companies, language is no issue.

There is about 5.000 ex-Nokia software guys seeking jobs with you. This is the reason. Nobody can help you but yourself. Posting application is just not enough you have to be more active.

If you don't mind living in other Nordic countries - I would recommend Sweden or Norway. Way easier to get job there and that's where I'm gonna go if nobody in Finland wants to hire me soon:)

Try some other nearby countries. Like said, we have thousands of ex-Nokia engineers in line with you and employers only take in their friends/relatives/friends' friends.
